Maine Hunting Camp for Rent

If you are looking for a secluded Maine hunting camp to rent between May 1st and Nov 30th, you have come to the right place.  We have a full featured camp with an indoor bathroom sitting in the middle of over 1,200+ acres of prime, privately owned Maine woodland.  We love to hunt and manage the woodlands with game in mind.  There's plenty of grouse, deer and turkey.

The camp sits on a hillside in a maple grove.  We use the camp during sugaring season to make all the maple syrup we can.

The land is known as the Kingdom.  At the beginning of the 20th century, it was home to 18 small farms.  The farms are gone now but some of the old apple trees are still around and the deer love them.  There are also some big stands of oaks that keep the deer, turkey and squirrels full of acorns.

There's nearby access to a lake called Kingdom Bog.  The name does not do it justice.  We own most of it so if you're into canoeing or kayaking, you won't have much competition.  Just a peaceful lake mostly to yourself.

There's also 6 miles of private road on the property in case you want to do some jogging, mountain biking, ATVing, or just take some great walks.

 **Important - Firewood**
Because of the threat of invasive insects being transported into Maine, the Maine Legislature has banned the bringing of firewood into Maine.  Furthermore,transporting firewood for a distance of more than 50 miles is discouraged.  We provide all the wood you need to stay warm and it's included in your rental.  We're not short of trees.
